63rd Annual
YUMA JAYCEES SILVER SPUR RODEO
The Silver Spur Rodeo is the single largest project each year for the Yuma Jaycees. Yuma Jaycees and other volunteers work virtually all year long to put together the Silver Spur Rodeo. The Yuma Jaycees have proudly brought the greatest American sport to southwest Arizona for the last 63 years.
The Rodeo, which takes place the 2nd weekend in February, is a PRCA sanctioned rodeo which draws top cowboys and cowgirls from all around the Turquoise Circuit and beyond.
The 2008 Silver Spur Rodeo will take place the 8th, 9th, and 10th of February at the Yuma County Fairgrounds. There will also be a rodeo parade the Saturday morning of the rodeo, starting at 16th Street and 4th Avenue running north and ending in downtown Yuma. After the rodeo, join us for rodeo dances Friday and Saturday evenings at the Jaycee Clubhouse. For more information on how to get involved with the rodeo, become a rodeo sponsor, to reserve space as a vendor or to purchase tickets to the rodeo, please call the Yuma Jaycees at (928) 344-5451. You may also contact the Rodeo Chairperson, Joyce Gordon , the 1st Vice Chairman, Jim Allen or the 2nd Vice Chairman Terry Matzner.

The Yuma Jaycees will be dedicating the 2008 Silver Spur Rodeo to Kenyon Hong.
